Floodlines
In October 2020 I was delighted to present this solo exhibition at NORTHART in Auckland. The show featured six large scale paintings measuring 1800 x 3000mm each, alongside some smaller canvas pieces, and works on paper. The works were made with sea water and thematically aimed to present an immersive body of work and one that considered our relationship with our environment, specifically climate change and the impact this holds for us.
The Drop Off
In July 2019 I was delighted to create this large scale site specific painting for the lobby of the South British Insurance Building in Auckland's CBD. The work is 3metres in height and 8metres long and was made with over 60 litres of sea water collected from Auckland's foreshore. This work is available for public viewing for 6-12 months.
